Enjoy the Brecon Beacons most popular hike on a to the summit of Pen y Fan, southern Britain’s tallest mountain. Arrive at the summit in time to experience 360-degree views of the Brecon Beacons before descending under the starry skies of the this International Dark Sky Reserve.
You’ll be collected from a central location in Cardiff by your passionate driver guide who’ll transport you to the National Park. As you proceed to the summit your guide will point out geological features as well as tell you some stories of the area.
This hike requires a reasonable amount of fitness but is not a technical hike. We will be using a graded path to reach the summit with the ground being uneven along the route. You’ll have your guide to assist on route.
At the summit you’ll get spectacular 360-degree views of this amazingly beautiful National Park with plenty of photo opportunities as the sun sets and casts all manor of shadows across the land.
Walk back down as the sun has set and the stars make an appearance making the walk
enjoyable as the stars light up the bright sky.
