The Details:

What is the 3 Peaks Challenge Cymru? The 3 Peaks Challenge Cymru is an event to tackle three of the tallest mountain peaks in Wales in one hit. We will take on Mount Snowdon, Cadair Idris and Pen y Fan in that order.

We will meet at a central location in Cardiff on the Friday afternoon before taking the journey north to Llanberis where we will check into our accommodation. Upon arrival at the hotel we will have a briefing session where you’ll have the chance to meet the team to lead you on your challenge, and to answer any questions you may have. Starting with Snowdon early Saturday morning we then transfer to Cadair Idris in mid-Wales before completing our final peak, Pen-Y-Fan.

After completing the challenge you will awarded with a 3 Peaks Challenge Cymru certificate and medal to show off to your friends. We will finish off the day with a late meal before dropping back in Cardiff. We only use qualified Mountain Leaders and Hill and Moorland Leaders to guide you as well as using experienced drivers who’ll stay with you for the entirety of your challenge.
